The hybrid/diesel powered tower is especially made for tough Australian conditions. And because it’s self-powered, it can operate tirelessly for weeks at a time from practically anywhere where NextG wireless communications is available. These towers are programmed to automatically start the diesel engine once or twice a day for around one hour at suitable times to recharge the high amperage deep cycle batteries. Operation is completely silent during the other 22-23 hours, and special insulation makes it remarkably quiet even when the diesel is running.
